The FL License API serves Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation license data from official weekly bulk extracts — search, verify, and map brokerages with a single read-only REST call. Every response is stamped with the exact snapshot date, so you always know how fresh your data is.
Brokerages, title companies, recruiters, and lenders all need current Florida license information — but the official portal is built for one-off manual lookups, and the raw bulk files are enormous CSV dumps that take real engineering to parse, join, and keep fresh. Most teams end up with a spreadsheet that's already out of date.
Filter by name, license number, city, county, exact rank, and license-issue date range. Ask for agents licensed last week in your county — answered by the API itself.
Full record for any license number: status, dates, rank, employer — everything in the DBPR extract, with the snapshot date stamped on the response.
Related licenses join on the employer's license number. Pull a brokerage's whole roster in one call — perfect for recruiting feeds.
Data comes from DBPR's official bulk extracts, refreshed weekly. No scraping, no live-portal calls, no session hacks.
Every response carries as_of. Your data may be up to about a week old, and the API tells you exactly how old. Receipts, not promises.
Stripe-style fl_live_… keys with prefix-only listings, one-time display, and instant revoke. Script it from anything that can send an HTTP header.
Log in to the dashboard with your account.
Create an API key — copy it once; only the hash is stored.
Call the API with Authorization: Bearer:
curl https://fl-license-api.homelyenterprise.workers.dev/api/search?name=smith&rank=BK%20Broker \ -H "Authorization: Bearer fl_live_…"
Prefer clicking around first? The interactive docs are generated from the OpenAPI spec, with try-it-out on every endpoint.
A broker sits down with a blank page and asks for fifty agents licensed last week in their county — and gets them. Weekly snapshots make "new agents in your county" feeds possible without polling a portal or maintaining a parser. That's the demo; the API is the product.
Up to about a week old. Bulk extracts are the only source, and every response tells you the exact snapshot date via as_of.
Never. This API reads only the official bulk extracts — that's what makes weekly refreshes reliable and honest.
The current snapshot covers Florida real estate licensees from the DBPR extract. The schema handles all 23 license fields the extract provides.
Two ways in: a signed-in dashboard session, or an API key as Authorization: Bearer fl_live_…. Key management always requires a session.
Search, verify, and recruit off Florida license data that's honest about its age.
